On Tuesday, May 14th the Kingman Police Department Flex / Detectives Division served a Search Warrant in the 400
block of Simon Ave. During the service of the Search Warrant; Robert Jones, (52) of Kingman, Donna Barboza, (56) of
Kingman, and Jeri Wilson, (51) of Kingman were found to Possess Dangerous Drugs and charged with the following Felonious
Crimes.
Jones was subsequently booked in the Mohave County Jail for Possession Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Dangerous Drugs
(Methamphetamines), and Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale. Barboza and Wilson were also booked in the Mohave County
Jail for Possession of Dangerous drugs (Methamphetamines) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jones, Barboza, and
Wilson each admitted their individual involvement during the investigation.
Injury Crash, Narcotic Drugs and Felony Warrant

On Monday, May 13th, at 1:15pm, the Kingman Police Department arrested
Robert Allen Eaton, 25 of Golden Valley, on a
felony charge of Possession of Narcotic Drugs, misdemeanor charges of Leaving the Scene of an Injury Crash and Driving
with a Suspended License, a felony arrest warrant and assorted misdemeanor warrants. Eaton was arrested after officers
responded to a minor injury crash in the 2200blk. Hualapai Mountain Rd. It was being reported that Eaton, driver of the
at fault vehicle, was attempting to flee the scene on foot. An off-duty KPD officer was able to chase and detain Eaton
until officers arrived. It was then discovered that Eaton had the warrants for his arrest. The investigation
determined that Eaton failed to control the speed of the vehicle he was driving and ran into the back of a vehicle
stopped at the intersection of Railroad Ave. and Hualapai Mountain Rd. Eaton then fled on foot before being captured by
the off-duty officer. In his effort to flee Eaton had attempted to open the doors of two vehicles, asking them to drive
him away from the scene. Eaton was unable to enter these vehicles as the drivers had locked the doors. Assorted
prescription narcotic drugs were located in the vehicle Eaton had been driving. Eaton was booked into the Mohave County
Jail. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.
Felony Shoplifting & Aggravated Assault

On Monday, May 6th, at 4:15pm, Kingman Police arrested Craig Aaron Gresham, 20 of Columbus, NE, on a felony charged
of Aggravated Assault and misdemeanor Shoplifting, and Tanika Marieq Young, 19 of Golden Valley, on a felony charge of
Shoplifting. The arrests resulted from an incident at a store in the 3300blk. Stockton Hill Rd. where store security
was reporting Grisham and Young fleeing the store after stealing merchandise. Both were captured and taken into
custody. During the incident Gresham is alleged to have threatened the pursuing security officer with a empty glass
bottle. Young had numerous previous arrests for shoplifting. Store merchandise was recovered. Gresham and Young were
booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Dangerous Drugs Arrest

On Wednesday, April 24th, at 4:00pm, Kingman Police arrested
James Daniel Carter, 43, and Shannon Ahlm, 46, both of
Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Officers were called
to a residence in the 1700blk. Robinson Ave. to assist the Mohave County Probation Department. Probation officers had
located dangerous drugs and contraband in the home. It was determined that Carter and Ahlm were in control of the
contraband. Both were arrested and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Shoplifting, Methamphetamine and Heroin Arrest

On Thursday, April 25th, at 6:45pm, Kingman Police arrested
Amanda Lena James, 25 of Kingman, on felony charges of
Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Narcotic Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and misdemeanor
Shoplifting. James was arrested at a business in the 3800blk Stockton Hill Rd. after store security observed her
conceal merchandise. Upon James' arrest officers located methamphetamine, heroin, narcotic prescription medications and
assorted drug paraphernalia in her possession. James was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Multiple Warrants and Jail Contraband

On Thursday, April 25th, at 10:00pm, Kingman Police arrested
Tiffany Marie Hill, 29 of Kingman, on five misdemeanor
arrest warrants out of Kingman Municipal and Kingman Justice Courts and a felony charge of Promoting Prison Contraband.
Hill was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic offense. She was taken into custody when it was discovered she
had numerous warrants issued for her arrest. While at the jail it was discovered that Hill was attempting to smuggle in
a syringe. Hill was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Shoplift, Drugs and Weapons Offense

On Monday, April 15, at about 3:15pm Kingman Police arrested
Joseph Riley Garner, 23 of Kingman, on felony charges of
Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Misconduct Involving Weapons and two misdemeanor charges of Shoplifting. Garner was
arrested at a store in the 3300blk. Stockton Hill Rd. after store security observed Garner concealing merchandise.
During the investigation it was also discovered that Garner had shoplifted from another store nearby. Garner was found
to be in possession of a handgun, narcotic drugs and drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Arrest for Child Molestation

On Monday evening, April 15, Kingman Police Detectives, working in cooperation with School Resource Officers,
arrested Craig Anthony Talieje, 30 of Kingman, on two felony charges of Child Molestation. The arrest came after a KPD
school resource officer received information that two sisters, 12 and 14 years old, may have been molested by their
mother's boyfriend (Talieje). The investigation resulted in Talieje's arrest. He was booked into the Mohave County
Jail. The two victims and three other siblings were placed in temporary protective custody by AZ CPS. The
investigation is continuing.
Child Abuse, Drugs and Weapons

On Friday, April 12, at about 10:00am, Kingman Police arrested
Juston Ryan Bruce, 24, and Katherine Marie Lapenta,
25, both of Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Child Neglect.
Both were contacted after officers responded to a residence in the 600blk. Mountain Shadow Dr. regarding check welfare.
Upon arrival officers contacted an elderly man living inside the home. It was discovered that the home was
uninhabitable, due to its extremely unsanitary condition. It was learned that Bruce and Lapenta (boyfriend/girlfriend)
lived in the home with Lapenta's two young children and her grandfather. A marijuana grow was located, along with
marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia. Also in the home were firearms, all accessible by the small children. Both
Bruce and Lapenta were booked into the Mohave County Jail. The children where left in the custody of their father.
Child Abuse

On Sunday, April 14, at 4:00pm, Kingman Police arrested
Jerrilyn Randall, 23 of Kingman, on a felony charge of Child
Abuse. Officers had responded to a store in the 3300blk E. Andy Devine Ave. when customers and store employees called
reporting that an intoxicated female had dropped a baby on it's head while in the store. Officers arrived to find
customers holding the infant, while store employees where attempting to calm the mother and prevent her from physically
assaulting them. It was learned that Randall, who was heavily intoxicated, had almost dropped her infant several times
while in the store. At some point Randall is alleged to have picked up the infant from the shopping cart when she
dropped the infant. The infant landed head first on the floor. The infant was treated at the scene by paramedics and
later released to a grandparent. Randall was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Fatal Crash - Motorcycle vs Truck

On Saturday morning, April 13, at about 11:05am, the Kingman Police
Department investigated a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a truck pulling a horse trailer. The crash
occurred in the 3200blk E. Andy Devine Ave. when a white pick-up truck, pulling a horse trailer, pulled onto E. Andy
Devine Ave. from a business driveway, into the path of the eastbound motorcycle. The truck was driven by a 71 year
old Phoenix man. The motorcycle was driven by Audie C. Farmer, 45 of Kingman. Farmer was killed in the crash.
Farmer was not wearing a helmet. Alcohol or otherwise is not suspect to be a factor. No criminal charges are
expected. The cause of the crash is "Failure to Yield the Right of Way" by the driver of the pick-up truck.
Dangerous Drugs Arrest

On Saturday, April 13, at 1:45pm, Kingman Police arrested William David Green,
26 of Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and assorted
warrants. Green was arrested in the 1500blk Main St., when he was contacted by an officer in connection to another
incident. During this time it was discovered that Green had multiple arrest warrants out of MCSO and KPD. Green
was also found to be in possession of narcotic drugs, methamphetamine and associated drug paraphernalia. Green was
booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Drug Related Arrests Made

On Friday, April 12, at about 11:00am, the Kingman Police Department assisted the
Mohave County Probation Department at a residence in the 2800blk. N. Alpha St. During this time Cory J. Northrup,
21 of Kingman, was arrested for a felony probation violation warrant; Ryan Hardy, 18 of Kingman, was arrested
fro Probation Violation and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Marlene Quasula, 22 of Valentine, AZ, was
arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and warrant out of Kingman City Court. Also arrested was a 16 year
old Kingman teen, charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug paraphernalia. All were booked into
jail.
Trafficking in Stolen Property

On 02-12-13 Kingman Police Department Detectives conducted a follow up
investigation in the 4400 block of Stockton Hill Rd in reference to stolen
property. Upon further investigation George Veliz (47) of Kingman was arrested
for Trafficking in Stolen Property. Veliz was booked into Mohave County Jail
without incident.
Criminal Trespass/Indecent Exposure

On 02-11-13 Kingman Police Department Patrol Officers responded to the 2400
block of Valentine Ave. after a receiving a call regarding someone attempting to
make entry into a residence through the front door. It was reported that the
Christopher Dupree (29) of Kingman threatened the home owner if the door was not
opened and exposed himself. Dupree was later booked into the Mohave County Jail
without incident for the above listed charges.
Aggravated Assault by Domestic Violence

On 02-10-13 Kingman Police Department responded to the 5000 block of Scotty
Dr. after receiving a report of Domestic Violence. Officers learned through
their investigation that Donna Mussel (53) of Kingman threatened and attempted
to cut a family member with a knife prior to police arrival. Mussel was
arrested and booked into the Mohave County Jail and charged with Aggravated
Assault by Domestic Violence and Prohibiting the Use of a Telephone in an
Emergency.
ATL - Unlawful Flight from Law enforcement

The Kingman Police Department is currently asking for the publics assistance
in locating Jack Taylor Lagerwey, 42, for Unlawful Flight from Law enforcement, and
possession of Marijuana, possess prescription only drugs, and possession of drug
paraphernalia. Lagerwey was involved in a collision at Bank St. and Gordon on
January 28th, 2013.
Lagerwey was transported to the Kingman Regional Medical
Center with non life threatening injuries. On February 1st, 2013 Lagerwey left
the hospital against medical advice. If you have any information please call the

Unlawful Flight from Law Enforcement, DUI

On February 3rd, 2013 Kingman Police Department patrol officers arrested
Kingman resident Perry Dale Feger, 52 years old, for Unlawful Flight from Law
Enforcement, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
On the above date, at 0030 hours, patrol officer were conducting a bar check
in the 4400 block of North Stockton Hill Rd. Officers were advised by bar
security that a male subject later identified as Feger was intoxicated and they
had attempted to call him a cab, however he got into his vehicle which was
described as an Artic Cat all terrain vehicle. Officers contacted Feger and
asked him to turn the vehicle off, and he then accelerated over a dirt berm and
exited the business.
Officers started to pursue the vehicle but were soon ordered to terminate by
the duty Sergeant. Officers obtained an AZ vehicle license plate number and
were stationed near the residence of the registered owner, who was listed as
Feger. Officers observed Feger fail to stop at numerous stop signs and head to
the direction of his residence.
Feger arrived at his residence and was taken into custody.
Feger was charged with Unlawful Flight from Law Enforcement and Driving Under
the Influence of Alcohol. Feger was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Burglary in the 1st degree, Possession of
Burglary Tools

On February 1st , 2013, Kingman police detectives arrested local residents,
Leroy Douglas Haslett, 26, and
Angela Renee Spillman, 32, for Burglary in the
1st degree, Possession of Burglary Tools, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Detectives were working a night detail in reference
to the recent rash of storage shed burglaries. While checking the storage units
in the 3700 block of Sunshine Avenue, Detectives observed two subjects later
identified as Haslett and Spillman acting suspicious in the area of a storage
units. Haslett was observed cutting the fence and entering the storage facility
while Spillman served as a lookout. After entering the facility Haslett became
suspicious and fled. A very short foot pursuit ensued and Spillman and Haslett
were taken into custody.
Both suspects were booked into the Mohave County Jail.
The detectives working this investigation have tied Spillman and Haslett into
multiple storage sheds burglaries throughout the Kingman area. If you have any

Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon

On January 13th, 2013, at 9:40 pm, officers responded to the 2500 block of Simms Avenue in reference to a physical fight and someone possibly being stabbed, after the neighbor called 911. After arriving it was advised that
Anthony Ray Cortez, h/m, dob 02/05/1989 was involved in a fight with the victim who lived at the residence. Detective’s interviewed Cortez and he admitted to fighting with the victim however he never advised that he stabbed the victim. Cortez was later booked into the Mohave County jail, for Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon
and Aggravated Assault with serious physical injury. The victim was later taken to Las Vegas for his injuries.
Non-Injury Accident

On Wednesday, January 9th, at 7:40 am, the Kingman Police Department responded to a single vehicle non injury crash at Hualapai Mtn Rd. and Jackson St. The investigation revealed that a green colored 1995 Pontiac passenger car, driven by
Alejandro Orozco
Luna, 25 of Golden Valley, was traveling eastbound on Hualapai Mtn Rd. turned northbound onto Jackson St. where it collided with the rock landscape. It was reported that a passenger exited the vehicle after the crash and fled on foot, the passenger remains
unidentified. Luna attempted to free the vehicle from the landscape but was unsuccessful. Officers with the Kingman Police Department arrived on scene to investigate with Luna refusing to exit the vehicle by holding the door closed. Luna was removed from the
vehicle and in doing so grabbed for an officer’s Taser, although unsuccessful. Luna was subsequently booked in the Mohave County Jail for Extreme Dui.
Burglary arrest

On Saturday, December 1st at 4:40am, Kingman Police arrested Michael Dean Cain, 22 of Kingman, on felony charges of Burglary and Theft. Officers responded to a store in the 3300blk Stockton Hill Rd. after employees reported a suspicious subject (Cain)
armed with a knife. Officers arrived and discovered Cain in a bathroom stall. Cain was in possession of several duffle bags. Further investigation revealed that one of the duffle bags was stolen from a residence in the 700blk Foothill Dr. Additional items
were found to have been stolen from a social club in the 900blk Gates Ave. where Cain had been performing community service the previous night. Investigators believe that Cain stole items while performing community service and then stole items from a shed of
a residence in the 700blk Foothills Dr. as he was walking home. Cain was booked into the Mohave County Jail. No charges were filed regarding the incident at the store. Drugs are believed to have been a factor.
Burglary arrest

On Monday, December 3rd at 5:00am, Kingman Police arrested Gregory James Pavelchack, 32 of Bullhead City, on felony charges of Burglary and Criminal Damage. Officers responded to a burglary alarm to an electronics business in the 3100blk Stockton Hill Rd.
Officers arrived in short order an observed Pavelchack walking away from the business. Pavelchack admitted to breaking the business glass. Pavelchack was ultimately booked into the Mohave County Jail. Property was not stolen. It appears Pavelchack was
deterred by the audible alarm sounding.
Residence Burglary Arrests

On Friday, November 23rd at 7:30am, Kingman Police arrested Lauriano L. Lovato, 44, and Emili F. Gillin, 23, both of Kingman, each on a felony charge of Residential Burglary. Gillin was additionally charged with felony Vehicle
Theft. Officers responded to a vacant residence in the 2200blk Lucille Ave after neighbors reported suspicious activity at the vacant home. Officers arrived and discovered a door forced open and Lovato and Gillin inside. Gillin was wanted in regards to a
previous, unrelated vehicle theft incident, where it was alleged that she had stolen a vehicle from a family member. Both were booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Vehicle Theft, Dangerous Drugs and Trespassing

On Sunday, November 25th at 11:30pm, Kingman Police arrested Curtis Chokie, 32 of Kingman, on felony charges of Vehicle Theft, Criminal Damage, Flight from Law Enforcement, Trespassing, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession
of Narcotic Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Officers were taking a vehicle theft report form a residence in the 3900 blk. Prairie View Dr., when another officer located the stolen vehicle being driven on Eastern Ave. The driver fled and eluded
pursuing officers until crashing into mail boxes in the 3200blk Sage St. The driver (Chokie) fled on foot, but was captured a short time later after he was found hiding in the backyard of a nearby home. Chokie was found to be in possession of
methamphetamine, narcotic prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia and property belonging to the victim. Chokie was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Arrest made in Child Pornography possession

On Monday, November 26th, Kingman Police Detectives arrested Fred Dale Skidmore, 56 of Kingman, on 5 felony charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. An investigation began when technicians of a local computer service business
located what they believed to be child pornography on a computer belonging to Skidmore. The subsequent investigation revealed multiple images that sexually exploited juveniles. The victims were not local, but believed to be images obtained from the
internet. A search warrant was also served at Skidmore’s home. Skidmore was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Aggravated Assault on Juvenile and Possession of Dangerous Drugs

On Tuesday, November 27th at 6:30pm, Kingman Police arrested Devina Cook, 22 of Kingman, on felony charges of Aggravated Assault on a Juvenile, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug
Paraphernalia. Cook was arrested after a 13 year old male reported being grabbed and punched by Cook while in the 3300blk Harrison St. It was reported that the 13 year old had approached Cook, asking to use her cell phone. During this time it is alleged that
Cook grabbed the youth and punched his face. Several witness also reported the incident. Officers located Cook a short distance away and discovered her to be heavily intoxicated. Cook, who admitted involvement in the incident, was additionally found to be
in possession of prescription only narcotic drugs, marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia. Cook was booked into the Mohave County Jail. Cook was also booked on a misdemeanor warrant for Contempt of Court on an unrelated incident. A 19 year old companion
of Cook’s was also taken into custody for Minor Consumption of Alcohol and a misdemeanor warrant for Failure to Appear on an unrelated incident. He was also booked.
Kingman Officer Cleared in Shooting

Following an investigation by The Lake Havasu City Police Department, Chief Deputy County Attorney James J. Zack has cleared Kingman Police Department Officer Evan Hopper in the October 27, 2012 shooting of John Yard. According
to Zack, "the shooting is clearly justified pursuant to A.R.S. 13-405, 13-410, and 13-411. It is apparent John Yard was attempting suicide by Cop.” “Officer Hopper’s response was reasonable, lawful and justified."
On October 27, 2012, in the vicinity of Walmart, 3346 Stockton Hill Road, Kingman, Arizona, John Yard, a local transient, approached KPD Officer Evan Hopper while Officer Hopper was conducting a traffic stop on a motorist. Yard
approached Officer Hopper and pulled a large handgun. According to witnesses Officer Hopper told Yard twice to drop the gun. Yard continued to pull the gun upward and outward, placing the Officers and motorists in apprehension of getting shot. Officer Hopper
then shot Yard. A team of Lake Havasu City Police investigators was called to investigate the shooting; standard protocol when officers are involved. Officer Hopper, who has been on routine administrative leave since the shooting, will return to full duty immediately. John Yard is expected to make a full recovery. Criminal charges against Yard are pending.
Aggravated Assault, Drive by shooting arrest

On Monday, November 19th Kingman Police arrested Konrad Reinhart Houser, 30 of Kingman, on felony charges of Drive by Shooting, Aggravated Assault, Endangerment and Misconduct Involving Weapons. At about 12:25am police
responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 200blk Park St. where it was reported shots had been fired. Officers arrived and found the alleged suspect had left. It was reported that an argument and physical fight ensued between the homeowner and two
male subjects (Houser and another). During this time it is alleged that Houser pointed a handgun at the victim and fired off two rounds. Houser is alleged to have fired a third round as he was leaving in a vehicle driven by the second subject. No one was
shot or injured. Later that morning Houser was located at a residence in the 3000blk Emilie Cir. Houser was taken into custody and ultimately booked into the Mohave County Jail. The argument is believed to have been over a personal matter between the victim
and Houser. Houser was also found to be a prohibited possessor of a fire arm. The second subject with Houser is not facing criminal charges. Alcohol is believed to have been involved.
Arrest made in case involving Luring Minor for Sexual Exploitation

On Thursday, November 8th at 3:30pm, Kingman Police Detectives arrested Michael Gerad Keith, 30 of Kingman, on a felony charge of Luring a Minor for Sexual Exploitation. Keith was arrest at his place of employment. The arrest came after Kingman Unified
School District officials reported information to a KPD school resource officer that had been brought forward to them by an 8th grade student earlier that day. The information involved allegations that an Information Technology employee of the district was
communicating with several students via the social network site Facebook. The subsequent investigation revealed Keith to be the employee in question. Investigators found Keith had “friended” several 8th grade female students on Facebook recently. Several
other female students had refused Keith’s “friend request”. Investigators quickly found that one of the students, a 14 year old female, was the victim of grooming for the purpose of sexual exploitation. It is believed that Keith’s contact and interaction
with this victim on Facebook and texting began in early September. The contact Keith had with the remaining students was found not be criminal in nature, however inappropriate. Investigators served a search warrant at Keith’s home Thursday evening were
assorted computers, cell phones and electronic devices were seized. The investigation is on going. Investigators are aggressively trying to determine if there are additional victims involved.
The success of this investigation and subsequent arrest of Keith is due in part to the quick action by school district officials and their cooperation with KPD detectives and school resource officers. Keith, who admitted his involvement in the offense, was
booked into the Mohave County Jail.
