All applicants will be evaluated based on assessment of relevant training and experience. Qualified applicants best meeting the
department’s requirements will be invited to an interview. The police
department only accepts applications for open positions, that is, any position
which has been announced and for which we are actively recruiting.
General applications are not accepted.
If you are interested in a career
in law enforcement, as a certified officer, with the City of Kingman you may fill out a
job interest form. This form will
be kept on file for 1 year.
All positions
are defined as safety sensitive. Applicants are required to undergo drug/alcohol
testing at employment, and subsequent to commencement of employment, will be
subject to random, post accident, reasonable suspicion, return to duty, and
follow up testing.
